Who We Are

Established in 1982 by Margie and Bill Haig, Mattress Store has been the place to go in Maryland for mattress education, sleeping advice, and knowledgeable product information. The children we outfitted with mattresses in the 1980s are now purchasing mattresses for their children and grandchildren. It’s our mission to make your mattress shopping a satisfying experience.

Who We Are

We travel across the U.S. every year to attend trade shows and visit manufacturing facilities and showrooms on our search for the best mattress innovations. Our most recent success has been our two-sided mattresses by Serta – a little “old-school style” combined with a lot of “new-style technology.” You can flip it over and use the second side. It’s made with the newest improvements in foams and upholstery to provide optimal performance and comfort.

Going directly to the mattress manufacturers gives us the power to stay competitive. This means our prices are guaranteed to be the lowest, allowing us to focus on the real “Mattress Store difference,” our customer service. Our team treats you like family. Being a part of the community and sharing our sleep knowledge are hallmarks of our business. Helping local non-profit charities, churches, and private schools with fundraising has also been an important part of what we do.

Over the years, we’ve earned many bedding and community service awards. The most recent was the 2022 “Readers’ Choice Award″ for the best mattress store in the Annapolis area. We’re thrilled to have earned this award for the past eight years. Thank you all for making us your favorite!
